Walking In The Desert

Walking in the desert is not anybodies dream job. However these days I feel like I was walking in the dessert where food were scarce, helping myself in a dry land where water was so precious.

I went to work as usual, did my church ministry every week, tried to motivate myself when I felt so dry inside. I have to be fruitful even when I am still in the desert. Prayer and bible reading is a classic recipe to survive in the desert. In order to survive we have to take the whole doze of the recipe. Pray God's words back to Him and speaking God's words into our situation.

Sometimes I feel so exhausted that I think I could not even say anything nice anymore to someone else. However when we have God inside of us, there is always a small river flowing out of us to give hope to others. The river will never dry even when we thought it has dried up already.

While I was still walking in desert, I know for sure that

My God will give me daily bread as He gave manna for 40 years to Israelites out of nothing
My God will make water come out of stony mountain to satisfy my thirst
My God will fight besides me and for me against all my enemies
My God will accompany my journey as cloud during the day and fire during the night

and He makes my walking in the desert as walking in the garden of life
